Guided Shore Dive or Refresher Dive

Explore Kona's near-shore reefs on a guided shore dive led by Kona Shore Divers. Your guide selects a beautiful site along the Kona Coast and leads you through a shore-entry dive to discover reef fish, corals, octopus, sea turtles, moray eels, and the occasional reef shark or dolphin.

This dive is open to certified divers of any level. If you haven't been diving in over a year, a refresher dive is required before joining a standard guided shore dive — and can be booked as part of this same experience at a slightly higher rate.

A single-tank dive takes 2–3 hours. An optional second tank can be added for an additional $99 per person, extending the experience to 4–5 hours total. Note: after one dive, wait at least 12 hours before flying or driving to altitude; after two or more dives, wait at least 18 hours.

Kona Shore Divers is a mobile operation — they meet you at the dive site. For larger groups than what's available online, call to arrange a custom outing.
